More food for thought. Oil prices are in USD
WCS at today's price of $43 USD is $55 CAD at today's exchange rate. CST quotes their cost per tonne in CAD and from the 2017 AGM we were led to believe that $28 CAD per tonne is comfortably on the high side. Evan Price stated that it was closer to $20. I think if someone sits down and illustrates this in a compelling way, there are lots of reasons for emitters in any province to consider carbon capture. Quebec will lead Canada, though. I'm still expecting that other provinces won't catch on until they see how Quebec makes out with VCQ.
