Anyone hear whatever happened to making vinegar from Co2?

So, not gonna lie I am concerned that there are no VCQ end users, yet. Has CST ever updated us on their first conversion technology to convert Co2 to Acetic acid? Their 2017 Annual report says this "It is anticipated that the acetic acid conversion unit will be operational by early Q2 2018". Surely they can find someone to take their vinegar! It's a cleaner/degreaser, it can be used for food, it can be used to make other chemicals. Even if they had to give it away to help promote VCQ, they should be able to find an end user that needs acetic acid. Do we know if they were able to successfully convert Co2 to acetic acid on schedule?

So far, CST has not publically stated that there are any VCQ end users (consumers of co2 or converted products). Only service providers, technology partners etc but end users are not lining up. Even their current commercialization page (https://co2solutions.com/en/commercialisation/) states that they are still under discussion. No disrespect to CST here, I'm just highlighting my concern that they are currently lacking interested end users which means that it may be a challenge for them to sell the concept of ...more

It sells for between $300 and $800 USD per ton on Alibaba.com. At that price, bring on the Vinegar du Carbon Quebec project already.

Wdr2: that made me LOL for real. Although I have enough shares to be disappointed in the flow of events. Gambling is bad - Guilty as charged.

Thanks for stepping down off that high horse and educating us all with your perfect game theory. What excitement do little boys like you get from your posts.... I feel like you may have been the subject of bullying and I'm sorry for you. The stock will do what it's going to do but attacking people for asking a question on a Forum makes you a dummy not them.
