From Monday, mechanical shovels will activate on the neighboring lands of Serres Toundra to prepare the ground that could accommodate new greenhouses.
After putting its project on hold, the Tundra Greenhouses of Saint-Flicien are considering the possibility of launching the second phase of the construction of its vast complex.
The president, ric Dub, specifies however that these preparations do not necessarily mean that a new module will be built.
The City of Saint-Flicien and the Ministry of the Environment still have checks to make.
ric Dub points out that the work that will be undertaken next week, however, confirms that the company's operations are now well established and that its problems of labor shortage are a thing of the past.
According to the president, it is still too early to say what vegetable would grow in new infrastructure that would have an area of more than 300,000 square meters.
In total, four phases are planned. According to the company's website, the last was to be completed in 2019-2020.
Once completed, the complex should accommodate more than 400 workers
