You got me on that one. We have been going up there for many years and that is news to me. The only park that I have seen is the old Sibley park which is now called Sleeping Giant. There are no signs. Where are the boundries? What is the name? Why is there logging and mine exploration through out the area? I'll have to down to the MNR to check this out but thanks for setting me straight.

I think that the park starts at Highway 11/17 and follows the river northward. The park takes in the river sytem up to and including Black Sturgeon Lake as well as a couple of hundred meters of land on both sides of the river. The park came into existence about 5 years ago due to the "Lands for Life" land use planning exercise. You can still hunt/fish in the park but I hear that they
