In addition.

According to Sedar, Frank G. thr his foundation & co. purchased the recent shares (1,750,000) for the sum of $245,000 or .14 cents a share.  The recent options were priced @ .15 cents.  My point being, that as of this morning the shares are .17 to .18 cents. It is always a good thing to pay close to if not the same price the insiders are buying at.  It doesn't happen too often, so I see the current share price as an opportunity.  This company also has almost $5 million in cash which equates to approx .125 cents a share on a non-dilluted basis.   If you are a speculator with patience this stock could provide some golden dividends down the road based on the track record of the majority owners of  this stock.  Do you own DD. Good luck.

I got in at around $0.245 about a year ago.  It was dirt cheap then.  Still dirt cheap as far as I am concerned.  Even at $0.245 this thing only has a $7 million market cap.  As you said, it has almost $5 million cash.  This company will be used as a vehicle to list one of the more advanced stage resource projects.  I am looking for this thing to go public at ...more

Just looked: CNP has $0.175 per share of cash on the books.  Even buying at $0.18 you are essentially buying at cash value (this is why I was comfortable buying at $0.245, it was just a bit above cash value).   Buying at $0.14 was a steal.

elmothefearless...I've appreciated and enjoyed reading your insights on these boards for sometime now (although am only a recent member of Stockhouse). Might I add that just about everything the insiders of these small junior resource companies buy/obtain is a 'steal'. It can be a profitable strategy to coat-tail savvy, wealthy investors (e.g. Frank Giustra)...but it will probably ...more

Thank you.  Agreed on the PCT / CCY comments.  I own shares in CCY and it is indeed trying my patience.  That said, I think they have a pretty legitimate deposit.  PCT was a train wreck and I hope not too many people got caught up in that one.     Here are some other companies Giustra and Keep completed reverse takeovers for: PTA, USO, PRE, GLW (now part of Franco ...more

Thanks for the 'materialsgirl' recommendation...I'll have to check out her posts. Curious, isn't it, that the insider we were discussing (Gordon Keep) recently declared insider transactions in both of the companies we were referencing (PCT, CCY): On Dec 13th buying (buying!?!) 188,000 shares of PCT [8% of his direct ownership holdings] @ $0.005 On Dec 24th selling 200,000 shares of ...more
