Compliance's Delima in Port Alberni

I have been reading this board (very informative thanks to the posters BTW) and it appears from my readings that there is a lack of understanding a more robust picture of Compliance's delima in development the proposed shipping port facility...not the least of which is the distinction to the public between the marketing strategy that has been implemented to attract investment and maintain share prices (such as all is well and good in lala land type pronouncements).

A quick google scan of the anticipated timelines announced by Compliance Energy that have not been met should be an indicator of just part of the "unsaid" coming from the Raven Coal Project.  Time after time projected benchmarks have come and gone with no explanation from Compliance as to the reasons.  However, a deeper review of the project proposal does provide information as to why this project is not likely to able to proceed to the permit stage.  The challenges are many in any major project development but these challenges are amplified when preliminary due diligence is adequate on projects before they even reach this stage.  It appears that trying to rush a project resulted in a misunderstanding of the complexities by Compliance and that is the reason for the delays, and ultimately is what is presently being seen in the loss of values of stock share prices.

Despite media announcements and power point presentations that the proponent displays this project is far from a done deal and the proponent has not to this date stepped up to the plate with any environmental study data to meet any of the guideline requirements to validate the proponent claims that this project can survive the environmental review process.  The complete silence as to successful consultation agreements being negoitated with local First Nations should also sound alarms for any potential investments.   (and consultation is much much more than a meeting to show a power point presentation).

Hi, I see you have been a Stockhouse member for a few hours now, thanks for the input but I have more faith that this is a project with a bright future, at .09 a share I think you are assumig some risk. Risk /reward = more reward at these levels.>

supra48 that is what makes investment into bargain basement prices of penny stocks enticing to some people.  I would imagine that anyone investing into any project would generate some faith for themselves in their investment decision.  I am just saying that there is much more to this project than what Compliance is stating in their press releases and power point presentations and up ...more

After reading your post, I see nothing substantial about Port Alberni or any dilemma (note spelling).  In fact, Port Alberni welcomes the business that CEC will bring to that city.  Look back into the posts and you will find several stating this.  But, it only makes sense considering that Port Alberni is feeling the pinch from the economic downturn like all of us.  These are ...more

It is certainly your money to lose.  I think if you learned a little more about Port Alberni and the "support" you hear about you would find that Port Alberni has been in a state of desperation and reaches for any pie in the sky offer that comes along.  I could create an entire litany of Port Alberni jumping from one latest scheme to the next but it would bore you I am sure ...more

Mountainman, you are nothing but a sewer RAT.  That's all I have to say about you.   The other guys ramblings about nothing, will make no difference to CEC's success or failure.    CEC is on the right track and is trading at cash value.  AMY is desperate for a JV deal and is or will be in need of money that they've wasted moreso on PR than operations.  ...more

2guys when I logged into this message board I had hoped for a level of dialogue beyond name calling by the project proponent investors.

supra48 thanks for the "insider" bullboards tip!  I had no idea this was a self-promotion board (but I shouldn't assume such things) LOL
