Permit Application...
Just guessing, but the way this board is shaping up, I would bet some more money here, that CEC will submit its application well ahead of its publicized 'end of this year' timeline. JMO

CEC hasn't satisfied anyone to date. They have declared nothing and the guidelines published have been roundly criticized by expert reviewers hired by Coalwatch, the BC Shellfish Growers Association, and the Alberni Environmental Coalition. This is not NIMBYism. This is a philosophical fight about where we how we should be creating jobs in the 21st century.

Where should jobs be created chrisale? Tell everyone in BC that mining is out of the question, and they should concentrate job creation, exactly where?

I love how those who are so caught up in their own delusions lose their ability to read. I said coal mines 2guys, not all mines. And if you can't think of any other way to create jobs, particularly in renewable energy, then that is your problem, please don't saddle all of society with your inadequacies.

Quote: Our CEO has the history to demand such a salary. Who are you CEC's IR guy ....whats your salary $200,000/year......LOL IMO CEC's monthly burn rate hurts from high priced salaries from CEO's and people like you........LOL

Mountainman2 I noticed that also but didn't want to get off track in my response to bestguesstoo. It appears as though there exists some presumption in that post that the First Nations do not also have experience in negotiations and experienced professionals.

RavenPortSpinWatch, Very professional response to bestquesstoo.... Unfortunately 2Guys will will respond with his usual negative spin on any one who questions or comments on this board if it is not in total agreement with what he thinks......... ATB

chrisale, Your quote: Coal, in my opinion, is no longer a responsible source of energy. Therefore Raven, is not a responsible project. I totally agree........ It is a fact of life .....coal is no longer accepted like it one was due to atmosphere pollution issues....... ATB
