EAO determines not to accept Raven Application

Several letters from the BCEAO are now posted on their website. In part one of the letters says" The EAO has determined that the Application does not contain the required information and has decided not to accept the Application for detailed review". Rather than post the links, I'd suggest you go to the BCEAO e-PIC website for all of the information.

Yes I just read it. Looks like CEC is being given another chance to resubmit an application if they deem it warranted. And more important here is the Appendix listing all of the missing informatoin, inconsistencies, and omissions identified. Chris, the company spent shareholders money.  The company and its management didn't lose anything, but shareholders surely did.   Don't know what they will do, but they spent more money than they had expected, and again, the management didn't lose a thing as they've been well compensated.   Hopefully they can address the issue in the future.  Not sure how much ...more

All the recent talk/threats here of civil disobedience if the Raven Mine proposal isn't rejectected by the BC regulatory authorities is pretty scary stuff and shouldn't be taken any more lightly than anyone posting online that they plan on doing a school shooting or terrorist bombing.   However, pretty much the only group in our society that can routinely get away with these kinds of ...more
