Compliance requests change in auditors

I see that Deloitte, the auditor for Compliance has resigned at the request of Compliance. Could it be that Compliance got tired of Deloitte representing the sorry state of affairs in the financial reports?
Meanwhile, Stephen Ellis of Compliance was quoted in the PQB News that he vowed to re-submit their Application by the end of the year. Haven't we seen this movie before????
