Next Three Months

It may struggle around $9 till mid May.
Most difficult part of investing is to sit on profits. All those people who bought/added between $7.76 and $9 will find it hard to hold.
I plan to add with my distr money over next three months as and when it dips below $9.
I have realized over last three years that distrs make up for slowness in growth.
I took profits on earlier occasions and tried to go for faster growth in other sects but it was catatrophic except  for VSN, RNW,CPX, D.UN, ALA and a few others,  I booked heavy losses in oil sect but was lucky to get back to safety of KWH.UN when it was trading at a discount.
I feel rest of the stks in Canada are going to stay supressed due to Trump factor.
Only thing which can save them is a geopolitical incident in middle east.
The Analyst day webcast was full of details and provides a clear line of sight.
Volume is picking up and so should unit price.
Price movement reminds me of RNW and VSN.
Best of luck.

I'm not really sure how to read the high volumes. I do think this price came on a bit quickly and there is very likely a pull back coming. The question is how far will it pull back??? I was one of the profit takers and sold off my whole position. I will be watching closely to get back in on the dips, IF there are any. I did not expect so much momentum and I believe others felt the same way or ...more

"It may struggle around $9 till mid May." Can you explain what that means?  KWH is in breakout mode.  I don't think it stops for awhile.

Mickey2, Bought deal was at $8.45. Hence the tempetation to take profits. With Iran and USA locking horns, people may like to migrate to oil sect. There has been persistent selling by Canaccord Genuity over last two months. We may say similar actions.

That was in June 2016... Usually its a 4 month hold.  It must be free trading now.  I can't see the stock hovering near $9 until May.  It's breaking out from a long ascending triangle formation.  Next stop is $10

I am surprised by the runup since a month ago when it was trading just above $8.00 and I was telling everyone to buy. I was taken out @$8.75 and obviously regret it. A guest on BNN recommended it over JE. People have been buying ever since. I would be cautious holding it now @ over $9.50.

It is obvious that we have investors on this site but more day traders and flippers !! I have held this stock for over 3 years , have not sold any and have added on what I thought were good buying opportunity dips. What do you want ? This stock is a cash cow, paying a secure 8% divy and has great growth potential, according to both the Company and analysts. I am thrilled with my investment after ...more

I agree, Rico. KWH helped me weather the oil crash, more than making up for my losses. I've owned this since Day 1 in 2012 at $10 when there was initial coverage by RBC only. I liked the story. I sold much of my position when it dropped in 2013 then bought back in 2014 at around $6 and have averaged up since. I am not adding more because I'm overweight in it. Divvy on my average price is ...more

I hear you. Retired now and am enjoying the nice monthly divy. The SP appreciation is nice to see but is not critical. Rico

Rico: Congrats on your retirement status. I can't do that yet. Too many vices to support :(
Comment by rico91 on Feb 07, 2017 11:46am
Sorry to tell you this, but the vices don't disappear when you retire. You just have more time to enjoy them !! Rico

I can second that.

I have also been owning this company for last 3 years. Bought big when it hit rock bottom after distr cut. What I liked about this company was that they had no long term debt. I took profit last year when it was over $9.  But never sold my core postion. Tried my hand at oil. Got badly burnt. Moved back to Crius in Feb 2016. Now I only hold Crius in multiple accounts. I know it is a very risky ...more

Well deisman looks like that you might have to be sitting with your cash for a long long time, but still this may be the best and safest thing to do when stock markets are at all time high and no one knows why there's no sign of any correction so far ?? Be strong.
