Interesting

One of the brokerages selling heavily over last three days.
They did not participate in bought deals. Hence it is not understood how a small brokerage ended up having so many units?
It could be a precursor to a takeover bid!
Won't sell below $12.

I think any broker can trade through ITG, and a precursor to a takeover bid is usually tipped off by buying and not selling.

Depends. What If it is an insider who already holds 20% interest? He won't tip off his own intentions. He would like to pull it down by selling off 2% of his units so that he can later take hold of the company at a lower bid! Just guessing.  I am sure you know who I am hinting at.

P.S. Yes, I agree with you that if somebody wants to buy  they have to pay a premium.
