Q3 2016  962,000 customers  $20.6 million EBITDA

Q3 2017 1,446,000 customers  $18.3 million  EBITDA

These results were expected after seeing JE results. JE also had reduced EBIDTA.  If summer was mild, winter won't be. EBIDTA is an imortant factor but should not be seen in isolation. Other factors like Pay out ratio, debt and management are some of the factors which are more important. Crius scores much better in these over JE. Vagaries of weather get spread out over all four quarters ...more

U.S. Weather services are predicting above average winter temperatures across most of the U.S. What action do you anticipate when you say "I am sure, mangement will react before such a situaton arises."?

Above  average winter means more sale of NG which should result in more profits. They have refined their business after polar vortex in 2013. Usually we have higher utility bills in winter.  For last three years unit price goes up from Dec 01 onwards and it has gone down after Q3 on all three occasions.

Nothing in investing is written in stone. Don't expect guarantees from any investment.  All you can do is your own due diligence and assessments then, assess your own risk aversion levels and either get out of the investment/hold/buy more.  Nobody here can do anything but give you their opinion, hopefully after doing their own due diligence.
