#85

Somebody from #85 brokerage has been selling 100 units at a time at lower bids.
There are some people who will see present management getting discredited  as the unit price moves lower.
I am sure , the mangement has a plan. They are not buying back in a hurry which is a good sign. Cash is the king.
JE is showing some strength which is a good sign for KWH.UN as sect is the same.
I sold 20% of my position at an average price of $8. Buying back  slowly but surely.
As deisman has said on many occasion "playing the swings is name of the game."
In my view, it is a buying opportunity below $7.75.
Remember Scotia participated at $8.43 and $9.80. However they did so at $6.43 too.
I am sure they did DD every time they participated so did other institutions like NA and CIBC who only participated at $9.80..
It is growing compnay with a few hiccups.
Good luck!

Firstly, I see the NCIB as nothing short of a Huff-bluff, I also don't see the management has any real intention or plan to buyback shares now to support its value. Many things done by the CEO give me an impression that his team has been buying customer numbers in return for milking more investors. Does that sound like a Ponzi scheme? Yes. . . Those who believed in the management's ...more

Nobody holds a company forever. I see a huge risk in hoding or buying KWH.UN. I saw the same when it was trading below $4 in 2014 and  jumped in big time. Sold over $11 and $10. Bought back lower and have been taking distr for 4 years. I do not mind if it goes down another dollar. Nobody can pick the bottom. I can wait for it to go lower to buy rest of my position. Can afford to sell at $5 if ...more

I am confused when you say KWH.un is a huge risk to buy or hold, but then you said "JE has to go ZERO to convince me to sell KWH.UN"....
Comment by Sukhi19 on Apr 25, 2018 2:07pm
Huge Risk: REASONS: 1. Customer Attrition. 2. Yield hitting 11% which scares some people. 3. Solar- in near future. 4. Severe winter in some areas. 5. Legal pay outs. 6. Debt interest rates. 7. Lending to off-shore companies. JE: JE being in the same space helps me making decisions about KWH.UN.  JE has weaker metrics. But sell off in JE does indicate that KWH.UN may face similar fate. It ...more

Sukhi19, I actually used to think that you knew what you were talking about ! It would appear that you are like so many others that listen to the wrong people or news and then come on here with a 180 degree change of mind. So sad... Rico

If it was a change of mind I won't be buying at these prices. But I do like to trade. I had sold at $8 and bought ALA. Sold ALA  and am buying back. I also had and ENF and ENB but sold (at a loss) and bought back KWH.UN. I made some profits with ALA. My theory is that as individula investors we must keep shuffling our cards to do better then the fund managers. It presents a "risk ...more
