They definitely have a problem. Otherwise they should have paid on April 15. Why are they holding the payment till June?

No YOU are crazy. By not [paying ntil June its an EFFECTIVE 50% cut. They are borrowing your distribution funds for free. Its a delay tactic to a very real 50% cut in cash flow terms.ANyone holding KWH for income now has ZERO income. Its dead money. So you hold for what reason? SInce you are not getting paid the risk greatly increases. Markets fall? Well you get no return for half a year for ...more

So Typical. When you dont get paid for half the year YES, its an effective 50 cut. You as a shareholder will get half the money in June you should have received at that point.  Of course, the fact is, they will announce more bad news and the dividend witll be scrapped entirely by then.

YES. And from the shareholder perspective, it would have been the same if the company had said that dividends would be suspended for two months.
Comment by Mining_Dude on Jan 16, 2019 12:31pm
I dont think it's the same at all.  They are certainly delaying payments, yes, but they are still paying the full amount that they would have otherwise paid. In a suspension case, you literally lose two months worth of payments as opposed to having them delayed. I don't think the market is down this much because of the change to quarterly, I think it's down because they've ...more

I am out after buying a pile at $4.18 recently. Normally I wouldn't trade like this but something doesn't smell right here. First a stock buy back, then an introduction of a DRIP and now the two month break along with the quarterly payment schedule leads me to believe management is scrambling to find a way to steady the ship.

So lets do some reading together: "Under the new quarterly distribution schedule, any future distributions declared by the Board would be for the three-month period ending on March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 31, as applicable." so if no exception, thats pretty clear. Now the excetion: "With the exception of the distribution for the first quarter of 2019, which was ...more
