has formed a head and shoulders. NOT GOOD. ONLY THE MACD IS POSITIVE ,STOCK SENTIMENT IS DOWN. WE ARE DEPERATLY IN NEED OF GOOD NEWS TO TURN THINGS AROUND. THIS IS WHERE A GOOD MANAGEMENT COMES INTO PLAY.

Someone is trying to kid someone. FirstEnergy dumps 150,000 shares and later that day "someone" sells for $9.55??? If it wasn't costing me so much money I would be laughing. Starting to look like October all over agin.

Hey, I feel your pain. I constantly encounter the "Beck Effect": I buy a stock and it immediately goes down. It's a gift, really. Then, once in a while, I hit a PDP and that's nice. Anyway... I just think it's whiney to buy a commodity-related company and then whine about how it's not a smooth ride. Pull up a long-term chart of CNQ and look at all the nasty dives. So ...more

I'm pretty sure that's sarcasm; I have a sense of these things. If you've been in FE for years, you have even less reason to complain. I wish that I'd had your prescience. Maybe I came off as harsh. Actually, scratch that: I was harsh. Call me frustrated. Some boards are outstanding places for exchanging ideas, rather than some kind of stock therapy for people who forgot that ...more

My apologies also, I can never resist an opportunity to b!tch. I can only say that it was an ugly day pretty much everywhere. I don't have any big issues with FE edging down from here on a day like this and I'm actually quite happy with the way FE has weathered this terrible season for Nat gas.
