Crazy Chickens

Anyone have any insight on these two new execs joining Cash Store?  To state they are leaving senior banking roles to joining a company that is about to implode does not wash. I would understand if they came from RIM but...

Also, what kind of message is this insane group of management sending its shareholders?  We are struggling to keep our heads above water with losses growing each quarter, huge lawsuits we are about fight that we cannot win,  loss of investor confidence... the list goes on and on yet we decide to hire ANOTHER two executives to sit at the table???? What does that make, 20 VPs now?  Does Paetz actually think the answer is to bring two of his lackeys on board and somehow this is going to save the company?  Is he that arrogant?  This is a whole new level of corporate stupidity.  When will he, the BOD, anyone who understands business realize that the golden (and even profitable) years for this company are over . They only made money because they did things below board.  The past has now caught up to them and there is no way out of this quicksand pit.

Of course this could be maneuvering to totally wipe the Cash Store name from existance and re-open as a new entity.  That being said, the subprime business is nothing like the payday business and there is no way they could transform themselves the way they need to.

Good luck you 2.  You've just committed Harry Carry with your careers.

As an outsider looking in but knowing just how this organisation works Sooner rather than Later let the implode begin or like the unfortunate in Australia from nothing comes nothing. When the axe falls let it be swift decisive without mercy to those that have been doing the wrong thing.
