Never owned SOLG.    Right now Iown ZERO CGP.     I am not short SOLG or Cornerstone. I own the Aussie company with large holdings in shares of SOLG.

Are you unhappy SolGold's Cascabel deal with Cornerstone?  Why? Cornerstone's wasf ortunate to get the deal because investment in such projects was scarce at the time the agreement closed. SolGold, OTOH, is working a world-class concession out of it.  They should be happy about that. Maybe there is no need to second guess as all seems sensible under the circumstances of the ...more

I like the project.  I don't like the two company overhead's and the cross shareholdings. Would be nice and in the long run beneficial to shareholders of SOLG and Cornerstone to consolidate the ownership.    90% of the economic value of CGP's ownership of SOLG seems a reasonable price to transact at from both sides.   About .59 or .60 per share of SOLG for each and ...more

What are you talking about, CGP was "fortunate" No CGP was not fortunate CGP was over a barrel at the time and needed money to keep the lights on. CGP knew that they had an elephant on their hands with Cascabel.The problem they counldn't wait out for a better deal at the time, because to many companies were still cautious about entering Ecuador.
