bla bla bla no offence people
Everyone here is in it for the money! Very simple. Consolidation is nobody's friend at any time. Everyone will be set back on their heels in this one; remember for every dollar you put in you are going to end up with 20 cents in the end, simple math. Also you got to remember very soon CGP is going to have to fork over major money on Cascabel if Solgold finishes completion of a feasibility study, that is very close my friends and CGP will not be able to raise that kind of money. So remember you your shares after the whipping we will take, then the 40 cents or more that will be offered for the company based on, will that is a 100% offer over the stock price. You know what really pissed me of the most here the company tried to blame the share drop on a few thousand natives wearing skirts and eating spiders instead of, we are going to dump 80 percent of your investment because we need more money. After stripping of shareholders there is going to be very little time to rebuild on CGP because the company will be set up for a very hostile take over and nothing the company can do about it. We will be in the market place like a skinned lamb with vultures fly over right ready for a feast. Just think about it very few share at this point so very little money to swallow us up. The price will be based on the number of share the company has not on the value you think is in the ground, it don't work that way, people. so sad so sad, but hey we all know that this is the Vulture Exchange right. All Facts IMO

Why do you think major shareholders like irwin are agreeing to this consolidation (I am assuming they are otherwise it won't go through).

You just answered your own question, because irwin is a major shareholder, and he know more about the direction of the company than we do. It was only a few weeks ago I was giver the impression that we and I mean CGP was trying to sell this puppy. But I guess I must have read the writing on the wall incorectly, or maybe it was written in code. imo

but why would they vote for this if they knew the value of their holdings would tank (as u say)? CGP's SP followed SOLG's and tanked based on this court case. Solg is recovering now because government said today that mining will continue (https://www.eltelegrafo.com.ec/noticias/economia/4/nueva-politica-minera) cgp price will recover as well.

MrS............you might want to check what is happening to some of the projects in Ecuador and you would likely reconsider your statement......""""""Do you think that the government would let a few thousand people in the country stop a multi Billion tax base be stopped. No , Never.""""""

Mrs.......mining in Ecuador is a go, however park areas, watershed areas, and Amazonian forest areas will be very carefully scrutinized as those are the places protests and legal actions are aimed at. Cascabel should gave no problems. Apparently four other Cgp properties could be involved.

Gents may I suggest that you talk to Brooke about your questions instead of speculating without the benefit of his explanation. Send an email to the IR department and I’m fairly sure he will get back to you. He’s a straight up chap.
