This is the day of Solgold's Annual General Meeting - something like 22 trading days away.
Methinks there are 2 pathways to get to this AGM.
The first is to allow suspense to build and to use the AGM to announce structural (ownership) changes. This would attract the horde of unwashed questions from analysts. They and others (the rest of us) would spend Christmas dissecting the entrails of this meeting.
The second is to roll out any announcements of changes in advance, so that questions asked at the AGM have some basis in fact.
I suspect the latter.
IMHO, if the Chairman wants to keep control of the meeting - and this is a BIG DEAL - then changes will be rolled out - therefore market-tested - in advance.
Why you ask?
Let me suggest that this is how such information should be transmitted to the company's public (which includes Cornerstone shareholders).
This is not Trump's White House.
