I hear that often before a PP is actually closed a share price will drop under varying sell pressures depending. Why though? Well some seem to think it might be because if those taking up some of the pp at a lower price than it trades could be current shareholders and perhaps selling some or all of their current position on the market for a higher price (with welp) to fund their PP participation. Kinda makes sense... But oh no that wouldn't be happening here because they would likely not do so until they knew for certain that the Koreans would belly up and I mean like how would they know that, right...? Plus could be extra notice associated with a financing going through at such an extraordinary discount...
"(e) The price per listed security for any private placement must not be lower than the market price less the applicable discount as follows:
Market Price | Maximum Discount |
$0.50 or less | 25% |
$0.51 to $2.00 | 20% |
Above $2.00 | 15%" |
So the sp shouldn't be more than 34'ish cents on a 25c placement then? or not...
Anyways just trying to pass the time and fill space....
Have a fantastic day if you choose to folks! ;0)$~
