I agree Ztransforms with your conclusion small correction though.  I am certai  Nuttall said "mid cap" rather than "mid tier."   I went ahead and boosted my ownership of CVE to make it my number one oil holding.    It is the only oil sand producer/ refiner I own and I hope to get to 10000 shares by the apogee of the current cycle.
