trading ex dividend today...criminal shot callers might have CVE  back below $22 by day end inspite of oil having increased near $4 since lows of the week..see below...dwdc

"The Board of Directors has declared a quarterly base dividend of $0.180 per common share, payable on September 27, 2024 to shareholders of record as of September 13, 2024."

 P.S..i'm wondering how big of a hit refining is going to be this quarter...

Do you really think the dividend is significant enough, to have any meaningful impact on the share price? I bought in just recently, i have been in and out of CVE a number of time but they have been slow in acheiving their objective. Have disappointed many times.  Q3 is suppose to be transformational with 100% return of something to shareholders, the stock is trading well below it medium
