In order for the transaction to be approved, 67% of shareholders need to approve. Having said that, I am also conflicted on what I want to happen. The current management is garbage and I would rather another entity take us over, but I also don't want this management to scam us and profit. I am concerned there are some shady ongoings which are in the interest of the current board of directors/management at the expense of us retail investors.
I personally have been invested since the Convalo days, and took up a larger position once hearing about the pivot into weed because I saw the synergy they could develop with their rehab business. Using weed as a medication/replacement to opiod was the basis of my investment in this marijuana play over any other and this has since unfortunately backfired. Why, how, when all this happened is beyond me given the bread crumbs worth of information that was shared by management.
