portland shares

Looks like I got the portland shares deposited to my account, much more than the cathedral shares the first round.  Did we get those portland shares cheaper?  I forget now but when the cathedral shares got deposited my average price was around 1.06 and now I noticed Scotia reduced my average price to 0.9143 with the addition of the new VIBE shares.
Does anyone know the price of these new VIBE shares that came in so that I can figure out my correct average cost base or do I just trust what Scotia has printed.
Thanks.

I'm with iTrade and also got the second tranche of shares - but not my warrants? Did you get  your warrants? (I'll respond to your other question later this morning if someone else doesn't - but the answer is in the history of messages here).

Correction - I did get the warrants - didn't see them right away in my rush.

Would appreciate if you could repost that info, if it's faster for you, on the pricing of the second VIBE shares (to understand why my average went from 1.06 to 0.9143 when they added the 2nd tranche of shares), it takes so long to search through all those pages and pages of posts. Thank you, much appreciated.  If it takes you just as long no problem, I will take a look later.

(Combining two replies into this one) 1) All of my VCAN shares are inside registered accounts - TFSA, RRSP, RESP - so I didn't care what Scotia said the ACB was - I just set it to the strike price for the warrants (Scotia let's you edit both the book value and the ACB separately).  I think Iscfa, previously posted the rationale for how the average price was generated - and it ...more

Yes, I got my warrants in my Cash accounts and RRSP accounts.  I had bought this toad everywhere unfortunately!!  Still have my CVHIF sitting in the cash accounts but gifted the one's from the RRSP last year since you cannot hold OTC stuff in RRSP from what I know. Anyway, the 2nd tranche warrants show an expiry of OCT 29th.  I just got off the phone and exercised the SEPT 15 ...more

Yes, that is correct.  I am also on hold right now exercising the warrants.  So you know, it took over a week from when I exercised the first set of warrants for the shares to actually show up in my account (the cash stayed in the accounts as well, so I had to be careful that I didn't use the cash for trades by mistake).

Yes, I remember reading that.  Once I see the warrants I exercised today in my account I will call back I exercise the other 3 accounts.  Let's hope VIBE moves to $2 eventually so that I can get my investment back.  What was this called originally Convalo, then Belvedere then Vcan now Vibe....sheesh!!!  Almost a decade of nothing.  Better to take a small loss next time ...more

This is new to me as I have not dealt with warrants before. Can I exercise the warrants myself thru Scotia iTrade or do I have to deal with an iTrade agent? Thanks.

With iTrade you have to call in and do it over the phone.  It's not a smooth process and takes time.  Then, expect 5-7 business days before you see the results in your account.

Thanks. Does iTrade charge extra for having to do it over the phone?

P.S. Thanks to Dileas48s & the board for all the help in explianing what is going on,,. My broker TD Waterhouse was of little help and it literally took hours to get a few questions answered and the warrants exercized,,.  I see Dileas48s all ready answered a similar question regarding the outstanding Ventura shares I was wondering if anyone has been able to sell their Ventura shares ...more

First, I apologize for "spamming the board" - not my intention.  My job is crazy right now and sometimes I never know when I'll get back to something here. The following text is from the VCAN Sedar filing for the second transaction: "Each VCAN shareholder of record on the Record Date will be entitled to receive one (1) Vibe Share for every 12 VCAN shares held and ...more
