BG2 guess i missed the joke.  every thing is documented when isold on this board.  not one of these - oh yeah, "i sold everything 3 months ago."  Everytime within a day of a sale.  Some understood taking a gain - some thought i was a big fool (bigger than usual) and would be very sorry later. ok - to recap, i started selling at 1.83.  20K shares ever 10-12 ...more

Awesome. What a fantastic informative dialogue. Did you do all that on EK ?? Thanks for sharing. I  dont nor I have I ever done but it's be known that some have been taken prmaturely. A reason to post not so much. Tasteless but respectful in some outrageous way

Curse I do agree with your plan on selling as  V. lake nears completion. Your sounding like Julian Kemp form the MOZ BOD sell sell sell. I guess he was very smart after all. I did inbox someone recently exchanging some opinions and my plan is to wait until the first Dore" pour from V. lake then sell off some assets or distribute them else where. I'm getting to old to play however ...more

I haven't really thought about my exit in a while. In Marathon, similar to you guys, it was expected to be when ever there was a spike around the completion of the mine, or being bought out... Initially when Calibre and Marathon combined, B2Gold had that signifiant holding and seemed like a leading candidate to just buy everyone out at some point. But obviously few months ago they cut their ...more

"In Marathon, similar to you guys, it was expected to be when ever there was a spike around the completion of the mine, or being bought out..." Exactly.  I was banking on a buyout....a buyout at the top and not when the market turned bad and underestimating the costs/inflation. always have a plan with golds. tC

And Ridge, you may remember that I know (knew) Julian Kemp.  Our kids played sports together at a competitive level.  I never did mention to him that i knew anything about the company he worked for, let alone being a shareholder with more shares than he had (as he rarely had any!!) tC
