Final Thoughts

I won't say much more after this post, now that I have had some time mull over what I have discovered from my preliminary DD.

I realize now, that any association that SG and NL will have..... might likely revolve around the fact that they can mutually and symbiotically be beneficial to one another.

The whole MMJ venture is hot. Finding a community and region that has the land, gov;t support and tradition so to speak, is really what is ideal. SG possesses extensive property in such a region of B.C.

SG is not moving forward with the mining business unless options open up and cash flows in. They mention so in Sedar posted in their MD/A in Nov. of last year. What they do possess is an ideally situated property and a listing on the VSE. NL and TK don't appear to have large properties for growing but they do have the connections and foot in the door with the government.

SG can be a solution for NL to grow their expansion and perhaps offer another location for another facility going forward in Cranbrook where the city is already allowing a 86000 sq ft facility to be operable by Dycar. One of the owners of NL is in the wine industry. The area around Cranbrook is a wine producting region. That fact makes the land that SG owns potentially attractive since the geology of the property would be conducive for grape producing as far as I can tell....are there south slopes, gravelly soil, etc....not sure

Put it all together, and I believe SG has a couple of  attractive assets for a reverse takeover situation and that is what I think is going to happen.

Does SG survive....yes because of a sale of assets or a reverse takeover and the shareholders would obviously benefit in that scenario. Does it stay a mining company....not likely with copper and moly not very hot right now. Does SG form a new company with a cash infusion....and share sale with a new direction for their assets.....maybe and the property alone is now worth something more given the business opps in that region so prices would be on the up...

I like it if what I  think the dots are connecting and showing me.....I will be buying a little more tomorrow and look forward to rousting some more info over the next few weeks or so, if not offered by a company update.

I see a little less downside to investing in this company but lets hear from what the company has to say itself hopefully soon. This proposed business venture is not a sure thing until its confirmed however, a business deal always happens especially when two parties feel they could benefit from the collaboration. Money will talk but both sides seem to have an attraction to each other since why throw it out there? (think positive)

I highly recommend that you form your own opinion. I thought I would offer this DD since,  if you were like me having a little 'buyers regret' from jumping in this potential MMJ venture......you had to have something tangible to see the possible deal come together....although I caution, we won't know what that is until it is confirmed so it is still a risk but less so if you feel the same as I have after doing some DD....

Cheers all

Ps....some of you are worried about pumping (Niko?)....well, get out there and look it up yourself. I don't need to have to convince you but the whole point I think of these boards is to collaborate for mutual benefit

Roller, i very much appreciate your post... this is exactly what stockhouse is for. So investors can collaberate different opinions, information sources, internal analysis, etc.  Imagine if this board had post after post of this kind of information and opinion rather than what we see today. I did my DD, albeit, missed the SG connection  with Cranbrook and all (not familiar with BC at ...more

Yes I do......and I will give my two cents in a message I sent.

Great post rollercoaster. This deal seems to be flying under the radar right now. Did my DD over the last few days and waiting for a pullback. We are almost at a 50% retracement and I may begin a position Monday depending on how trading goes. With such a tight float and the combination of NL's advanced stage ACMPR application and SG's land I think this is a no brainer. I am still cautious ...more

Thanks...climb aboard. I think we have to get our positions soon because an announcement or direction is imminent from the Federal Gov. before the end of the month.....so, I think some kind of announced deal if it is gonna happen will come before or around that time to get launced into full swing since NL's plant is supposed to be finished in Feb for final Health Canada inspection..... Also I will add that Richard Grayston , CEO of SG is a 72 year old dude, very well educated and experienced and I highly doubt he'd pump and dump like that. He's the CEO of many companies and it probably would be hugely beneficial for his retirement for this deal to go through. Hand the reigns to a younger generation so to speak. Anyway we'll see what happens. Dydd
