The only problem is this...

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has a continuing policy since the 1970s that sitting presidents cannot be indicted as it would unconstitutionally prevent them from performing their duties as the head of the executive branch.

He would have to be convicted and sentenced before the election.

No he can not make this go away if he wins which is unlikely. This is a state trial they do not go away a prez has no sway over a state trial, just like the Georgia case it will go ahead and all civial cases will move forward of which there are aprox 37 coming his way.
