Donald Trump says he’s not selling

Former President Donald Trump said Friday that he is not selling shares in his controversial social media company, an announcement that sent the stock prices skyrocketing.

Trump and other insiders in Truth Social owner Trump Media & Technology Group will be free to sell shares as soon as next week when lock-up restrictions are set to expire.

“No, I’m not selling. No, I love it,” Trump said during a press conference in response to a question from a reporter.

Trump’s comments instantly sent the volatile company’s share price spiking 25% on Friday afternoon before trading was halted for volatility. In late afternoon trading, Trump Media was up 19%.

“People think that I’m leaving. That’s why they’re down, ‘cause it’s different if I leave. But I’m not leaving,” Trump said.

Who  had 20 million  shares to sell into the  bids?  Does everyone  who believes in DJT as an investment  put  them  on the  ask   for a  buck or 2  up.... Had to be either  Donald,  or the  shorts  have  become  incredibly brave.... The  public float  is  only  about  69 million

I fought he has sold them. This is a ploy to escalate the share price so when the hold period expires he'll dump everything and retailers who bought in on will loose

Hook, line and sinker he is taking them all in.  He just has to keep this afloat for five more business days and this announcement is part of the process. As the major shareholders I doubt that he could explain the company's business model.

Any investor who can't see this will just be another Trump hoodwink deserves to lose their hats. That's his plan. Jump the SP and pull out as soon as he can. No thought for bag-holders.
