Email from IR

I emailed IR earlier this week and John Dahle replied to me on Tuesday....so if he is indeed out of country it was only yesterday or today that he left, so someone should have been answering the phone prior to that.. I am trying to be optimistic here...but something smells fishy and i am growing more skeptical by the day. Anyone else have that feeling? This was the reply  John from IR sent to me regarding my questions about the chinese and the closing of the propert deal.

" As for the deal with the Chinese, due to several hurdles regarding the wiring of funds, the money at this point is en route and a PR will be out when it is in.  As for the closing of the new property, they are in the process of passing the agreement back and forth between lawyers, should be closed soon!

I agree with you that a PR following the companies screw up was in order however, due to increased scrutiny prudence is needed and when the next news is finalized then a PR will go out.  I realize that all of the shareholders are waiting anxiously as am I but please rest assured that DLKM is doing everything in their power to tie up the loose ends so they can move forward.

I encourage you to hang in there News is coming!

Sincerely,

John

I got kinda the same message back from John earlier this week also. But he said that news will be coming out "this" week. (cauese I specifically asked when) But still no news...:-(I don't know the business or IR but I would hope they wouldn't just blatantly lie about something just to get folks to hold on to shares.  Now if they would have just said some mumbo jumbo I may ...more

When I talked with John he was leaving Wednesday for Tanzania.  Harp more than likely is there to sign the official agreement paperwork on behalf of the company.  My gut tells me we will not hear anything until Monday but I remain optimistic that everything will come through as planned.  It would be nice to be thrown a bone to chew on.

I've been told more than once -- by John at IR and Ken at the Vancouver office -- that  $1.5m of the Chinese money was already in hand -- I think they needed it by mid-June to move ahead with closing the deal by 6/30. I hope they're not now saying that they haven't even gotten that portion of the committment. That would concern me greatly. Also, the 'hurdles' regarding ...more

Yeah that "hurdle" comment cut my hold time in half..  I'll give it another week.

Would you care to elaborate? Dont come around trying to insight false panic based on rumors unless you are prepared to at least back up your statement.

I'm assuming DLKM needed the Chinese money to close on the property. If indeed the first check is not in hand, we are in serious trouble. What kind of "hurdles" can there be with wiring funds LOL?......and how can a wire transfer be "en route?"  The last time I did one (from US to Europe), it took all of 20 minutes, including filling out the paperwork.  ...more

"I know of people in Tanzania as I write 100% - we will get news next week."........It seems to me thats what i heard last week about this week. As for the wiring of money......it does sound suspicous but i guess we wont really know until a PR is released and we will either be extremely elated or find out we have been lied to and will pretty much lose everything we have tied up in DLKM ...more
