Company will not respond

The company told me yesterday there will be NO response to BM.  I think that is appropriate.

The crudeness, the obvious character-assassination, the damage it did to the stock price- all point to an attack piece that is not worthy of response. For BM to claim this in the share-holder's interest and then compare the stock - the stock - not the CEO - to Bre-X is unconscionable and shameful.   Luckily we recovered.  He attempted to destroy the company when he could not destroy the CEO.  That is appalling.

Again, there will be no PR or statement. The company told me yesterday they don't want to get into a pissing match with BM.  Getting the facts about why BM did what he did, is problematic.  I've heard all kinds of stories, now from both sides (relayed emails from BM further his attacks) and I don't believe anybody has a complete picture except for Harp and BM.

I chalk it up to gold fever.  My best guess, is that if he didn't outright attempt to get the property for himself, that he likely wanted to get a company in place to benefit, when that failed he attempts to get Harp replaced.  What it means to me is that this deposit is worth the risk to BM losing his reputation.

The obvious excitement about the property and what it means for this company and the stock is mind-boggling (and I don't mean to pump).  If BM wants to help the shareholders he can put his money where his mouth is and buy another million shares like everybody else, rather than trying to micro-manage from the sidelines like an amateur.

Today we should see another PR about other matters, and possibly, the 8K.

Thanks for these updates Nervous Norris!I'm still sitting on the fence of blame as I don't like the way either 'side' has handled the companies actions or the response to it up to this point. As others have said, there's always 2 sides to the story and I'm sure there may be be truths to both sides to some degree or another. I still have a bad taste regarding the ...more

You write: ..."Although BM and the website appear to have a big following (which seemsto be a reflection of his reputation within the industry)"... When I got my first article published on 321gold.com, my web site: www.worldofwallstreet.us, got ten time more hits than the response from articles on kitco.com, seekingalpha.com, stockhouse.com or LeMetropole.com. Moriarty's site seems ...more

Hello Monty high, Yes I have no doubt of that and I do find it's one of the sites that I regularly visit. I'm only a casual investor and it helps to have sites like 321Gold as a resource and yours is on my list now as well. Based on some past experiences I am careful as to how much weight I give to some of the articles I read at 321, It's done me both ...more
