8K - BM

Sorry for the bad grammar and spelling - I was in a rush!!

To confirm:  I meant to suggest 5 million + ounces and Bob M was the one who clearly stated that in the call.

He also went on to say he did not want to tell anyone what he really thought was in the ground because it sounded too much like Bre-X ------- so.......if you think you are the one who identified the reserve and was not offered a position of power on the job one could be bitter, no?

I can't say which identity is Bob M - but rest assured he and his somewhat gulable crew are here reaading all.

Don't quote me directly, but I believe his words were "at least 5 million, but less than 100."  I don't think there's any issue with the potential - everybody's pretty much in agreement that we're talking about a major gold property.  My beef at this point is with the boys running this show.  I don't care for the  ...more

Hypothetically speaking......how do you guys think the market would respond if an 8-K was filed for the inital investment of 1.5 million only. Would this be seen as a postive that the money has started rolling in.....or would it be negative that it isnt all there as may anticipated. It only makes sense as many on here have pointed out that it would be done in small installments as the project ...more

Make no mistake about it, BM's editorial did a lot of damage.  It will take some convincing NRs/8Ks to get us back on the right path.  If the property is what they say it is, even with mediocre management, we should be OK. The key word is "mediocre" LOL.

That would actually make sense to me.  I mean it would be a gift if the chinese gave them 6MM upfront. Me having a business degree know that you have to give to receive in business. So I highly doubt if the chinese would make a business decision to give up all that they committed up front with no kind of insurance or I should probably say "assurance".Whenever an 8-k comes out I ...more

I was curious to know everybody's else take on this hypothetical that Urban proposed..What if the 8-k only says 1.5MM or 2MM (anything outside of $6MM)

Any clarification of the situation that includes how much money has actually been paid and what the terms are for the rest is a good thing. IMHOMonty

I seriously doubted from the beginning that the Chinese would just plop down $6,000,000 in cash.  I was always of the opinion that the agreement probably called for some combination of cash and services. I would welcome any 8K regarding the Chinese financing with open arms, so long as it makes sense. That said, I'm more than a little miffed that a Tanzanian company is now ...more

Stock, i guess its all in the interpretation.  I think the money was given to them to "bring the project to production" not that the Chinese give them everything to do it.  They just can probably invoice them for approved manpower."Use of proceeds will include a final payment to close the Mbwemkuru alluvial gold deposit in Tanzania with the balance being used to bring ...more

I thought according to the article in mid July from a German report, it stated that there was equipment being brought up from Zimbabwe."Exclusive, we have also learned that the Chinese have already embarked extensive exploration equipment in Zimbabwe that is now on its way to Tanzania!"So does this mean there is double resources for equipment?  I guess the key word above is ...more

It seems like we all are having a field day with "word play" What is key to me is they paid Mr. Miata (JV partnership), hired Tanzinex, hired Dr. Groves to do the resource report (to get reading for mining) and paid Met-solve laboratories for the inital gravity concetration test, not to mention the lawyers to get the 8-ks out.All of that above are facts. You need money to do all of that. ...more
