We have heard through the grape vine that the Chinese visit has gone extremely well. With executives from three mining companies and representatives from Hong Kong investment firms, the share price will reflect how accurate the grape vine is. I don't know if people were buying up Douglas in anticipation that big Asian money is coming into the stock or if it is Tanzanian meeting participants beginning to nibble.

Below is a chart of Douglas. There has been very little excitement. Thanks to Bob Moriarty the stock has not been over 45 cents in almost two months. Was Friday a fluke or is there something behind this move. I tend to believe that if investment bankers wanted 2 to 3 million shares in short order, the stock could find itself north of 60 cents. The longs have been severely tested these many months and the weakest long has left the ship. If anything positive can be said, Douglas has put in a very solid base to help propel the stock up.

Thanks, Des; I'm retired so would be a happy camper just to get my investment back plus a couple extra $$$.  Never saw myself as being rich, but wouldn't it be great if we could make enough not to have to worry about the price of gas!  I use Scottrade online so still not sure when it's dropped low enough for me to buy right then; last time it dropped A LOT
