I believe the opening sale of 400,000 was a margin call. To try and drive the price down woulnt make sense a news release would correct this it would just be a huge loss for very little gain

   I don't think it was a margin call. 100k of those shares traded BEFORE the open. Another 100k went on the open, but at 12.5 cents, then the rest traded at more like 15 or 16 cents. margin call selling should drive the price successively lower, which this did not do.  That said, i don't have an alternative explanation...

Another possibility is a stop order. A stop order becomes a market order once the stop has been reached. If someone had 'stink' bids in place, then the order gets filled at whatever price is next in line.Or it may have just been a 'market order' which gets filled in the same manner. Although I can't imagine anyone with as many as 400,000 shares being so unknowledgable that they ...more
