One of these things is not like the other....

Anyone remember that song from Sesame Street....."one of these things is not like the other, one of these things just doesnt belong.........."

This morning Douglas filed 2 statements with the SEC. Here is the link to one of them stating that Mr.Charles Mnguto is being awared 350 thousand shares.
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1297223/000118374009000297/xslF345X02/primary_doc.xml

Now i have no problem compensating someone for the work they are doing or will be doing for a company however, here is a direct quote out of the 8-K filed 2 days ago in reference to the hiring of Mr.Mnguto.

"At present there are no compensation arrangements as between the Company and either of Messrs. Mnguto or Rai in their capacities as either directors or Executive Officers of the Company"

Now someone else tell me these itemse just don't jive. I don't understad why they just can't be upfront and call it like it is.

On a more positive front we seem to be holding up rather well given the massive takedown gold has been ravaged by over the last bit. Lets hope we can continue to fend them off for another few weeks until that 43-101 can give us a little bit more solid ground to stand on.

Good Luck all

(and yes, I remember that SStreet tune.lol) It is technically possible that the first filing was accurate and they had yet to finalize the comp for the new prez. If he's only being paid in ...more

I view Mnguto being awarded shares as a positive development. Did anyone think we were just going to waltz into Tanzania and make off with $zillions in gold and only pay taxes/royalties to the Tanzanian government? Heck no... palms must be greased, Swiss bank accounts filled, shares distributed, etc, all to the people who are connected to the people in power.if we can get away with only ...more

If the Chinese are going to provide millions to finance this they will want more than 1/3.  Does anyone know what the "standard" going rate is these days?  The Chinese are the best deal makers in the world so I doubt they would settle for less than the 'standard".
