DLKM REPORTS

The three reports that DLKM released on l0/l4 and l0/20 are the most Dismal I have read to date.  Obviously I didn't understand a lot of it but I think that most of it points to DLKM not ever becoming a revenue producing mine.  If there is anyone out there that can say anything positive, now would be a good time to do it.  I've been long for over 2 years never selling off any of my shares, but it would be very tempting to do so if it goes up again, IF!

I'm definitely not bashing DLKM, and really hope I'm wrong.  Des:  could use some of your cheerleading right now.

In general these quarterly and annual reports come off as risk-warnings. They tend to err to the side of investor caution. You should read some Qs that biotech companies put out- you'd think they'd never succeed. Bottom line, I think the regulators sort of enforce this 'doom and gloom' language. That being said, total failure is always a possibility!  Not to be a complete ...more

NEWBIEI brieifly saw something about DLKM and Canaco, but none of the reports  are available available anywhere from what I can see.    As I remember, it had to do with farming out properties, the names of which which I was unaware.  But what I saw did not seem to mention Mkuvia or Morogoro, or Magembe.  To bring out  such information on minor properties at this ...more

Hi AU- not sure what other reports are being referenced but I found this at the Yahoo finance site: https://biz.yahoo.com/e/091020/dlkm.ob10-q.html

Thanks, Yukon, that's all the push I needed.........appreciate you pointing out the positive.  I'm optimistic again.

Thanks Cornelius.  That bold face statement of an "estimate" comes word for word  from  the Mkuvia 43-101 Report, Section 11, Mineralization, at p.35. As to the other reports, when I first saw at least one, I went to the Company website to identify what properties were being referenced.  The Website, however, has deleted much information after the CTO episode. So I ...more

I'm not surprised they scrubbed the website of any potentially 'misleading' or unauthorized reports. Here's a news item from February that you won't find there either. https://www.reuters.com/article/pressRelease/idUS245569+10-Feb-2009+PRN20090210 I'm still convinced most of this stuff is relatively meaningless- start pulling gold out of the ground and we ...more

Cornelius: I agree that production is what we're waiting for... and news, first, that definitely it is financed and is actually going forward. I'm not saying that higher grades do not exist and did not result from the assay test announced in the February 10, 2009 news release, which is still available on other reporting news websites, but the problem is that the company "retracted ...more

Agreed- and as I recall the BCSC had supposedly been monitoring the chat here and that was in-part their reason for the spanking they gave DLake with the CTO etc. Anyway- we're agreed on the main points- and estimates are just that- regardless of what is published or not. Produce the gold- simple. ;-)  And yes- some news about the closing of the JV fundingl w/the Chinese would be a ...more

Sorry, Au, I've been offline and just got back on and saw your post............I was surfing for DLKM info and the l0/14 report was the long one giving the history of DLKM back to 2004, ending with the "doom and gloom' Yukon was talking about....the other two were financial statements giving expenses vs. profits which were nil...I've looked everywhere this past half hour and can ...more

Newbie et al, Yahoo finance has reports on the dates you noted. The 10k-annual report and financial statements along with the 10-Q quarterly report I put up the other day. These are probably what you were looking at no? https://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=DLKM.OB

Thanks, Yukon, these reports were exactly what I had read . I don't usually go to Yahoo Finance and just couldn't locate them again.  Appreciate you getting me off the hook - darn those blonde moments!!   LOL
