I first bought into Douglas about 3 or 4 years ago. Gold was $850.00. We were trading at 0.55 when i bought. 4 years later gold is 1750 and douglas is still under 0.50. Awesome. I know i know....this time we have the real deal. We'll see.

And it's hovering around 1760 right now. Urban- 3 or 4 yrs ago DLKM didn't have nearly as many shares issued either. Nor did it have the property.  Yes, we'll see what we do have soon.In general, I don't expect non-proven explorers and non-producers to benefit from the price rise in gold. But once the potential becomes a reality- or in our case a more sure future ...more

I had another thought occur to me about your post. So gold was 850. For the sake of discussion lets grant that it has doubled in the past 4 years while Douglas has languished. By comparison what will it take DLKM to double going forward vs.Gold? More than double? In what time frame from here? Rhetorical questions. Point being, DLKM in a year conservatively at $2.00? Physical gold ...more

Yukon,Perhaps my frustration oozed its way into my post. I am not saying Douglas is not a great deal at these prices. I am just tired of watching gold go through the roof while other Juniors soar with it while Douglas remains in neutral. That being said a couple of points, - Your comment about the share float (then compared to now) is irrelevant for most investors. Yes there are more shares ...more
