STOCKARCHANGEL.You may remember the last time they tried that, DLKM went from roughly $1.25 to sub- .50 and CAN went from sub .30 up and then the deal didn't get done. I don't remember the exact price shares, but I do remember that by the time they decided not to marry, my share value was about 30% or even less of what it was when the started the whole process of perhaps amalgamating.,Now ...more

For sure its a moot point until we prove we have a mineable resource. Then, several things can happen. I believe CAN has already set itself up for a take-over with the recent $130,000,000+ financing. The proximity of the properties and possible extension of the same resource lend themselves to one mine for cost effectiveness. It might not be a direct marriage, but somehow I get the feeling both ...more

Yes, DLKM has a south eastern extension of Magambazi Hill and now the latest acquired property to the East of Canaco's Magambazi finds. But it also has the Kwandge Target Zone to the West of Canaco's holding, and that has had good showings and is part of the Drilling going on now. https://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/713/screenhunter07wednesday.gif/ https://imageshack.us/photo ...more

And looking to the East of Canaco's findings, DLKM has good showing too. From DLKM's February 18, news Release: "Douglas Lake recently collected samples within the area of the Northwest-Southeast striking Magambazi gold trend. This area is small part of the Company's four contiguous licence areas that total 800 square kilometer's within the Handeni district. The gold content ...more

Folks,Rest assured that there will never be a CAN DLKM marriage.CAN with $130 million in the bank, is a stand alone operation. .DLKM may find enough gold for a stand alone operation. Until it does, CAN will just wait and let DLKM use their own funds to prove what DLKM has. If DLKM finds less than a million ounces, CAN gets the leverage to buy DLKM outright. All DLKM has to do is prove ...more

Without going back to check the EXACT figures, CAN had already spent about $13 million of those funds as of May 31. Their current expenses seem to run about $2 million per month in drilling (as per today's NR) and about $1 million per month in administrative expenses (as per SEDAR). In 13 months, from May 2011 - June 2012, they will spend at least another $36 million. Add in $4 million ...more
