Mining Indaba

One more day left. Will that bubbling water cooler explode tomorrow, or wait till the boys get back home LOL?

BTW, is everyone else having problems with SH?

SH has been pretty slow for me today.  I don't have high expectations for the next few days. lol  Maybe Masala Hills was the big news?

Slow isn't the word for it.......SH wouldn't continue through to post messages (really frustrating if you just spent some time to put together 10 or more semi-sensible sentences and suddenly your prize post is gone forever LOL), sending "connection lost"  and "error" messages, pages not loading, pages not refreshing, etc., etc. Thought maybe it was on my side, but ...more

9500 shares traded so far today...not exactly blowin' the roof off.  I don't doubt that we'll be ok some day.  After the way w256mgr was spoutin' off, I half expected something to get us going.  Masala was good news.  Just not enough to attract new money.

That's interesting.  It seems like a slow day market wide today.  At least with the stocks that I watch...

Thanks for sharing the link AU_NB.  I would love to have been a fly on the wall for the conversations.  I think that it would be energizing to hear about the vision of the company.  I took a beating from my wife and in-laws this weekend about Douglas.  They're scared so they sold.  Obviously they don't trust me or have done their own DD.  But now my wife isn ...more

Interestingly, Denzel Washington was on Letterman last week to promote his new movie and mentioned he just flew in from Cape Town and there were hordes of people from all over the world attending a mining show.
