D-pods?

If there is anything going on with D-pods then this week or next should be the week we hear.  If not this week or next then D-pods is a nothing burger!

Ill give them this week and next to see what happens.  NHL starts games on the 13th training camps have started.  We'll see how serious the Delta9/Jets talk was of buying a D-pod for the hockey team!

Provincial gov'ts are spending millions buying PPE with the idea that they can re-order as nec.  Gov'ts are looking at the light at the end of the Covid tunnel with the appearance of vaccines instead of spending a couple of million to buy illuminated $43k seacans for $250k. The cost of a vaccination program, at the RBC Convention Centre and in nursing homes, will be multi-millions and ...more

Here's my thoughts. Northern Ontario Business Article from April 9th, 2020.  You see, D-pods were already a thing back in April, not much happened back then.  Interesting read. This is a fantastic idea and I believe industry like mines could use this no company wants to lose time because of Covid-19 sick leave costs run in the millions. Between the vaccine and these bug killers in my opinion if I ran a huge company with reusable ppe this would be a cheap investment never mind a tax right off . So let's see where this goes . Volume will show it. Ok glta

Apparently the pod technology is able to decontaminate more than just covid so rolling out the covid vaccine doesn't make these obsolete.  Ultimately it comes  down to the value propsition, John has said that the expected payback on reusing PPE is pretty quick, if that's the case I'm sure they'll get some takers, hospitals will continue using PPE long after cpvod is gone. ...more

True but a 'pilot project' starting after the vaccine 'rush' has calmed down (say June??) could take six to eighteen months depending on the urgency of the perceived need and monies available. Leaders currently are focused elsewhere. We all know that a lot of Gov'ts are going to be cash strapped for a while. Once the threat of Covid is greatly reduced, the economy, and getting ...more

That article you posted doesn't say much about why that other company failed to get the idea off the ground.  They may never have even got the funding to try.   If budgets are a concern those same agencies may be even more attracted to the cost savings the pods could provide.  Nobody knows how this opportunity will pan out but I believe it's worth taking a shot at.

Agree.  Vaccines are beginning to roll out to nursing homes. All residents will be vaccinated within the next 60 days.  Concurrent to this the plan is to roll back the PCR test cycle threshold rate to a more respectable 20 cycles than current 40+.  Prepare to watch the infection rate fall off a cliff and governments pat themselves on the back for a job well done for having destroyed ...more

while I do agree that the need for the D-Pod is minimal with this wave/strain almost over, if they do pump more fear with this new, more contagious variation of the virus I could still see a big demand for something like this. Either way, this is just a side business that they can ramp up as opportunities arise.

Woah bud, may wanna dial back on the space cake, you're getting pretty deep into conspiracy theory territory.   Equating corona virus to the common cold is pretty indicative of your lack of education on the subject.  The common cold is not a condition, it's the body's natural symptomatic response to a number of different infections such as those caused by many different ...more

I agree this is not the place for this type of discussion. All facilities are already effectively addressing this. Even those without dedicated central sterile reprocessing departments/areas.  Disinfection pods are a distraction. Spending DN resources on this is a waste of time and money.  In the interest of shareholders DN is better off focusing on core verticals. That being said ...more

I'm willing to accept the possibility the D-Pods may not be a winner for us and I respect and value your opinions on finance and Delta 9's performance but I think we're really far apart on this particular issue. This Cahterine Fitts hasn't worked for the government for over 20 years so I strongly question whether she's in any position to be privy to any insider information ...more

Stonks, I'm prettty sure whoever posted that video was being sarcastic about any claiming  ligitimacy to this quack's outlandish conspiracy theories.  She pulled out of her sphincter so many out-of-this-world and bizarre unfounded claims that she probably bathes in Preparation H.   LOL

I will tell you what is not a conspiracy. This stock is stagnant. What a dog... even decibel killing us. Now that is sad..
Comment by StonksOnlyGoUp on Jan 06, 2021 2:27pm
Uh, I don't know what you've been smoking but it must be some crazy stuff if you think Decibel is killing us. Decibel - Down 52% this year  (That's down 52% including their recent gains, they were down quite a bit more before this recent news release) Delta 9 - Down 13% this year Decibel picking up a few pennies on their recent good news is hardly impressive.

decibal at least knows  how to grow weed. Something delta 9 can't figure out even in a little pod. They only thing they got going is retail. Also I never said for 2020 year. As of now decibal has more volume and has at least sparked a tiny bit of investors interest unlike these clowns. Tried to exit today at .53 but of course nobody wanted my shares. Good luck with these cucks ...more

You mean as of this brief moment right after a news release Decibel has more volume, doubt it will last long.  And no, they haven't sparked investor interest.  Again they're down 52%!!  That means they managed to convince investors that they're slighty less shitty then they were 2 weeks ago, if investors were truly interested they'd have risen more then a few pennies ...more

Your missing the point. Every company has warts. Delta 9s got exposed last quarter with the massive writedown of inferior product. Things were looking good before that. The other major problem is stock performance and volume. I rooted shard for this company and believe they are doing certain things right. The fact is they have a massive production facility with a bunch of amateurs running it. Do ...more

If you're holding on hope that canopy will buy us I wouldn't hold your breath.  Don't see what canopy would see in us, we have totally different business models.  A merger with another small cap would be more likely as John has indicated that getting market cap up is important to getting more investor interest. They seem to be managing it pretty good in my opinion.  As ...more

The market dictates what they want. you or I do not. In this case I agree with the market and I want top notch quality. the market demand for low TCH is minimal. Stonks I probably thought the same thing as you when she made that comment.  I would however encourage you to listen to the full interview.  If you do it will make more sense.  I don't for a minute believe the COVID vaccine has the ability she speaks of, nor vaccines that will be delivered over the next few years for that matter. I do believe however that we are being ...more
