Price difference between provinces

New here and just trying to figure out where to invest. I noticed that delta 9 have some pretty different prices between Ontario and Manitoba. On they're website they charge what comes out to $44 and change for 3.5 of White Out but in Ontario you can get it for $24 on the OCS site and usually no more than a buck or two more at local dispensaries. I'm guessing that this is one of their premium products. 44 for an 1/8th is far from cheap, or even middle of the road. But are they shooting themselves in the foot by undercutting the price so much? I can see them wanting to establish market, but having such a low price lumps them in with "cheap weed", which can't help to establish the brand. I worked at a wine shop in the past and no matter how great a 12 dollar bottle was, it was near impossible to convince people to give it a try. They'd happily spend 5 to 10 more and turn up their nose at my suggestion.

OCS has rock bottom pricing. Price on the website includes tax and shipping. They lost $42 million the first year. Generally it is a clusterf**k. One thing because they squeeze the LP's so hard is that the good weed goes to the other provinces that pay a bit more imo. It is still a guessing game every time you order. Personally have yet to find a go to that I am happy with.

Unfortunately most people don't realize that there is very little difference between a $10 to $25 bottle of wine... especially in Manitoba where the selction is very poor. The additional cost in this rainge is typically only to offset more expensive marketing and higher shipping due to smaller order quantities. There are some very good wines to be had at $10 (and even under) but like you say ...more
