Results are out.....

So, is it just me, or is everybody else kind of disappointed? With decrease in just about every metric, I'm a little concerned about this quarter.....

Waiting to see what the earnings call holds, but decrease in revenue, profit, transactions....Adjusted EBITDA was $6,199 for the three-month period ending March 31, 2021, versus an Adjusted EBITDA of $1.7 million for the three-month period ending March 31, 2020.

an ebitda of 6k is kind of sad, no?

I love this company, love the product, so I'm a little torn on how to feel about this....

Does anyone remember if this "seasonality" is normal from previous years? I can't (too much D9)....

I don't think they're neccisarily doing anything wrong however they consistently have inventory write offs now also. Could be seasonal but I have been far too optimistic for far too long. I'll be trimming my ...more

Also RIP warrants...I've done well on a lot of cannabis warrant plays and I thought this would be another but I don't see the SP getting over 1.33 to be in the money by the time they expire in July 2022. Consider myself lucky to get out at breakeven.

That is one thing that might be a positive out of all this (sorry to you personally...) is that the warrants being worthless is probably good for shareholders in the long run

I got out at breakeven awhile back as well.  I could tell from market depth this wasnt moving. The biggest issue facing the whole industry is expenses not growth. A day of reckoning is coming to the expense line for the whole indsutry. Marketing expenses are too high..... G&A expenses are too high.... It's going to be a low margin business and you can't have a ton of employees ...more

That's an interesting analysis of the situation, and for the industry I agree, but I think that for D9 specifically, their stores and staff are a real asset. The experience of shopping there is really nice compared to some of the other stores, and what might make the difference in convincing people not to just order BlackMarket online. I'm down ten percent right now, and still plan to ...more
