DN: Time to prove the VI business model

Canopy, the industry mothership, is getting out of the vertically integrated business model due to thin retail store margins.

Delta 9 absolutely must stop overpaying for retail store growth, maybe even suspend any further retail growth, until they FIRST prove its VI business model's profitability.

Got some bad news for you then, (yesterday?) CBC Manitoba had a story about cannabis retail hitting the saturation point country wide. They interviewed John (nothing he said was new), but they did mention D9 is looking at MORE acquisitions within next 6 months. I agree that they need stop using shares as currency, and stop over paying with those shares. Those three new stores are nice, but they ...more

In the business world, to pay 1 million dollars for a business , at EBITDA at 5 times (this would be very high price) would have to show a net income of $200000/year. A net income of minus whatever? is maybe $50000 and taking over your lease.

Yes I agree 38 stores should earn some profit. The company spouted about share buy back. Well mows the time to care of the shareholders who risked all for the company to succeed. Time to put up or shut up eom

Q3 is complete.  If DN can report revenues around 20 million then theyll be off to the races in Q4 and beyond.  38 stores plus in 2023  and other revenue streams will be all counting in the the new year.  Sadly for some the pace is not fast enough.  The losses the other LP's have been facing will come back to haunt them in 2023!

My Q3 revenue prediction is: $19.5 Million Hoping that I am too conservative and hoping there are clues that they will focus more on a positive bottom line.

Lol you just don't learn do you?  How many times have we said this stock will only move in a meaningful way on PROFIT or the promise thereof? Of course it isn't going up simply because the wider market is going up.  It is a relatively unknown micro cap stock.  Why would you expect people to suddenly start buying it because the index is up?

I have to agree..tbis company needs to show profit......highter revenue to good But Net Profit is... the only way this stock will go up...Confidence the company will do well is profit.. it was suppose to be this year..I think it might now be next year!!
