Email to Deputy Prime Minister

No seems to be doing anything to save the legal industry so I sent Christa a little note:

Oppressive Fed excise taxes are snuffing out the legal cannabis industry.   Cdn Govt is only one to make money from the industry.   Legal industry cannot compete against illegal industry with all the legal industry's regulations, restrictions and oppressive taxes.  The $1/gram excise tax becomes more and more oppressive with the declining prices.  US cannabis companies starting to prey on Cdn companies gasping for air.  See Delta 9 Cannabis News Release regarding SNDL nasty predatory strategy.
Please stop the dollar amount per gram approach. Stick to a percentage.  Please reduce or temporarily eliminate excise taxes to allow the industry to survive and have a chance to compete against the illegal grows that have no regs or taxes, and you do nothing to eradicate them.  Who's side are you on?
