unasked question annual meeting

Image result for linderos core gold

ow far had the linderos drill campaign progressed.... when  did they expect to complete hole #2 ..... As you can see from the map hole #2 could answer a lot of questions about the possible extent of the shear zone...

How did they determine the depth of the drill holes... Were they just looking to explore the depth potential of the shear zone... Were they also possibly looking for some indications of the postulated underlying porphyry.... is there a porphyrytic surprise possibly embedded near the end of this exploration rainbow...I'm just curious...The 340 meter average length for the 5 drill holes in a 1700 meter program even at a 65% angle is very ambitious in terms of depth penetration... The depth of the holes could definitely be a geological gold mine as far as understanding the potential for the existence of an undelying porphyry is concerned... With all the majors sniffing arcound ecuador right now it doesn't take much of an indication of promise to make a project marketable... too bad every porphyry does not contain economic mineralization huh? but you never know ... The pending assay could be very interesting....

Of interest is that the fissures on the surface could coalesce deeper down. I am as others here excited about the upcoming results. I have a feeling that this system is larger under ground than at the surface, just my opinion though. Here is the map of the top left or drill hole 2, just zoom in to see trench result details. Looks good https://www.coregoldinc.com/site/assets/files/5274/linderos ...more

Yeah, as I had posted before, trench results were comparable to Frute de Norte initial trench results. Spoke to a geology engineer friend that works for Goldcorp. Said that the trench results were nothing short of spectacular. Said that now the grunt work starts with drilling to establish the geophysical model of the find.

hmmmm  will have to read this a few times and then reread what core gold is saying about the linderos showing... On first glance I don't see any mention of porphyry in relation to fruta del norte deposit... I'll google fruta del norte and porphyry... https://pubs.geoscienceworld.org/segweb/economicgeology/article-abstract/111/5/1043/172161/discovery-geology-and-origin-of-the-fruta ...more

Fruta del Norte gold project geology and mineralisation https://www.mining-technology.com/projects/fruta-del-norte-gold-project/ The FDN deposit is characterised as an intermediate-sulphidation epithermal gold-silver deposit hosted by andesites of the Misahuall Formation and feldspar porphyry intrusions. The ore body measures approximately 1,670m along strike, 700m down dip, and between 150m and ...more

flashcash only the drill core can tell us what lies at depth.... I can say the volume of the area of interest is about 20 million tons.... Area of interest has nothing to do with what the ultimate amount of mineralization that may or may not be discovered amounts to... Only the drill core assays can reveal that. My calculation is based on numbers released by core gold... Obviously cores numbers ...more

Fissures can run quite deep depending on the formation process at around 500m to 1000m deep or more. I am looking forwards to the results I think we are going to be quite positivity surprised. If we hit a large deposit don't be surprised as these fissures are wide IMO, I can't wait for the results.
