Kudos to Core - Core responds to Titan offer

Good press release by the company.  Thanks to a sharper eye than mine for spotting it.

In particular: "The Titan Increased Offer follows Core Gold's previously announced strategic process, which has resulted in advanced negotiations with another company. Those negotiations are incomplete, and the Core Gold Board is assessing the state of these negotiations in light of Titan's announcement of the Titan Increased Offer."

Also, the "irrevocably pledged" Core shares that Titan lists, are still "soft lockup" and can be superseded  if a better offer comes along.

Putting in a "sweetened" offer over top of a punky one is a long-practiced move. So long as it makes the older offer look worse, some lose their judgement over it.

Let's see what happens.  Useful press release.

Titan choose not to be apart of the strategic review process, why are they receiving preferential treatment? & ...more

As far as I am concerned this is more of management bull. Since when are the mouthpiece of Titan. Titan already made their announcement and we saw what was there.  Sweetener offer when none was required and financing bull to placate questions. To me it shows that Titan position is one of survival and not one of an all powerful entity despite the name.   Our board tells us nothing ...more

I doubt shareholders are getting a fair negotiating process.  Unfortunately, it appears that Core golds Managment is heading towards another embarrassing loss in court. Now, I’m not some fancy con-man masquerading as a businessman on the BOD of Core Gold, but I wonder how much more profitable in the long run it would’ve been for them if they actually tired to create a profitable company, and ...more
