New shares

Likely shares sold to Kalani Investments from their 226 million dollar sale agreement.  Kalani is obligated to buy the shares at DRYS discretion for a period of 24 months.  As they just bought 3 more ships for 68 million likely need the money to pay for them.  Imho

But if one buys shares shouldn't it push the SP upwards?  When the company had their reverse stock split they said that they had the okay from their shareholders....Is this true, and why would shareholders vote for such a dilution of the stock anyways? Can they do another reverse split again or do they have to come to the shareholders and ask for their approval? Sorry,I can't figure ...more

Share prices move from demand or lack of it.  If there is more demand than shares available, then the price will go up.  If there are more shares for sale than there are bidders, then it will go down.  Sheer volume is not the complete answer.  This is a traders stock, so many of the people who buy these shares are betting on a quick price move one way or another for a small ...more
