Aveda earnout update

Dske q3 10q..says in section 17..recent developments..Oct 21..dske and nominee agree on 7.4 million US earnout settlement

Great catch, I believe this will result in 15 cents a share instead of 45 cents. Quite a steal we got here, but at least we should end up with a small earnout, better than nothing.

Mine was received this morning.  Does anyone know if this needs to repoerted as income or as a capital gain for 2020 taxes?

Thanks Montrus I see mine went in when I checked on Saturday morning so probably went through sometime on Friday also.  Don't really know what to count it as - not sure if it should be considered..."income"... "dividend"...or "capital gains" ...if anyone can shed some light it would be appreciated. Cheers Rusty
