This is a big move for DM....a sign of things to come......the 170 hole RE in October should result in an even bigger move up imho........
Comment by kkkrrrr on Sep 18, 2012 12:49pm
more important will be the Spin -off and the pre-feasibility in 2012 ...   Antofagasta has to pay DM 1x NAV for another 25% in Nokomis   .. BIG money for DM ..maybe enough to cover DM's part of the capex ...
Comment by estebancaballo on Sep 18, 2012 2:43pm
when do you think this will take place?
Comment by oceaneleven on Sep 18, 2012 2:46pm
Just got home and saw that our baby ran to 2.39....Yeh!!!! That's incredible.....Big Boyz took the foot of the brakes for a wee bit.....So nice.....So happy.....Nice to build this up prior to next Updated RE.....We have a winner here!!!!

Congrats to all those longs who hung in there for the last few years! Hang in there for a few more - things are just getting interesting!

Guys - let's put things into perspective. I am as happy as you are about the news realease and future prospects. But this stock is not an up and down day to day thing. Realistically we are still a couple years away from the real action that will begin to start. As I right this we are trading 2.25. Really?? I would say this is way undervalued at this price so as happy as I am about the news, we ...more

Every cushion provides support.....and we needed a cushion or two.....

Personally I prefer management that concentrates on running a successful company and when they do, the owners (us) are eventuallyrewarded. I have been in this stock (Franconia) for over 5 years and know how much effort has gone into mapping this resource. Fortunately this and the previous management  preferred real work to issuing press releases. My compliments to them and not  to the ...more

I am with you on this...I am quite pleased with Management...."Impressed" is a much better word....and as much as I luv cushions, I love hard backings too as it gives me buying opportunities.....

I am not saying they are not doing good work but let's call a spade of spade, they aren't getting the msg out there effectively about what they have, previously had, and what the future holds. We are sitting on a world class deposit.  I've been around for a lot longer than 5 years. My shares have come from the WM spin off. I believe we are in great hands with this MGMT team and I ...more

You win on patience. I bought in at 2.70 (FRA) and added on the way down with a bit of trading. So as long as the true value is eventually reflected in the price I am happy. We all are particpating in an asset which is not fairly reflected in the stock price but eventually it will and more than likely the stock price will overshoot to the other extreme somewhere along the way. A resource report is ...more

Given your background with DM I think you have every right to raise this point, Canusa. As a more recent investor (2009), I have experienced the roller coaster ride of the Anto partnership but did not experience the sp drop that you have gone through. I find that most of the management teams of companies I invest in do not do a great job of getting the word out or even of keeping shareholders ...more

No gripes here, just keeping people humble....no point in going anywhere as the metal in the ground isn't going anywhere;) I'm just stating the facts that going forward I would hope they would spread the word more effectively. Both WM and DM! (they just need to brag a little bit) Let's face it, we are all in this to make some $. This MGMT team has there ducks in order no question about ...more

The targets are quite spread out. I believe that they will drill holes a far distance apart and see what happens. If they believe that we have a Voisey Bay on the non Twin Metals Lands then look out and fasten your seat belts when the drill results appear.  Hang on tight and dont be tempted to trade into the mayhem. The next 6 months will be fun. My personal belief is that Duluth is setting ...more

Great advice and post Redmetal (as usual)! Could you elucidate on the Nevada Copper? What in your opinion makes it a good buy?
Comment by redmetal on Sep 19, 2012 1:57am
Do your homework on NCU and be prepared for some huge low risk gains. My 2nd biggest holding after DM. Big players involved including the Governor of Nevada, who is taking management on a trade mission to Asia and White House Speaker Harry Reid.
Comment by redmetal on Sep 19, 2012 1:59am
And by the way, Freidlander sold Voisey Bay to Vale for $3 billion dollars.

What's your take on AZC ? I seen you posting here as well.
Comment by redmetal on Sep 19, 2012 12:31pm
AZC will eventually get their final permits and the share  price will soar.

Comment by estebancaballo on Sep 19, 2012 4:23pm
I am following Redmetal's lead and getting in to NCU in a big way.....how can you go wrong when the state governor is selling your project overseas??
Comment by oceaneleven on Sep 19, 2012 4:44pm
I am going to take a good long look over it this weekend.....NCU.....I found a neat company that is based on Project generators with Big named mining giants jv partnerships.....MRO.....It's trading cheap and could hit a major discovery....investors like "Major discoveries"....
