rocdic - no leaks
There might be a reason - albeit I don´t like the idea: We´re waiting for stunning drill results to be released soon, but they didn´t hit yet. So they continue drilling. That also would explain why they withdrew some of the most promising exploration objectives from their Jan. 2013 investor presentation, compared to the previous one:
Page 7 Dec. 2012:
"The South Kawishiwi Intrusion is a basin-like feature with a synclinal axis suggesting that the eastern margin of the basin may host rocks similar to that of the northern margin, where the large Twin Metals Minnesota Project qualified resource exists"
Page 7 Jan. 2013:
"The South Kawishiwi Intrusion is a basin-like feature with a synclinal axis with potential for additional discoveries"
Inferring: They didn´t hit yet rocks on the eastern margin of the basin similar to those of the northern margin, but potential for additional discoveries still exists.
Page 20 Dec. 2012:
"Nor'East property:
>Situated at the junction of the Nickel Lake Macrodike and the South Kawishiwi Intrusion;
>Geological modeling indicates that the property has the potential to host a "Voisey's Bay" type massive sulfide target
Nickel Lake Macrodike:
>Potential for higher grade PGM’s in addition to copper/nickel mineralization"
Page 20Jan. 2013:
"Nor'East property:
>Situated at the junction of the Nickel Lake Macrodike and the South Kawishiwi Intrusion;
Nickel Lake Macrodike:
>Potential for PGM’s in addition to copper/nickel mineralization
>Geological modeling indicates that the property has the potential to host a Nickel Lake Macrodike target"
Inferring: They didnt hit yet "Voisey's Bay" type massive sulfides at the Nickel Lake Macrodike (NLM), but maybe at the Nor'East property. Potential for PGM’s in addition to copper/nickel mineralization at the NLM still exists (but I´m missing "higher grade").
Any opinions? (Based on your geological background - hey rocdic, what do you think?)
Just IMHO

drill results will not move the stock .. DM already has resources for 100 years of mining... pre-deasibility und permitting will move this stock

Drilling exploration with awesome results moves stocks....this is not the property that is under pre-feasability with Antofagasta...This is our 100% owned property....It will be very exciting to see the data and hopefully find some glory holes as we wait for Pre-Feasability on our jv property......and with 4 drills spinning :0)

I think we might be in a holding pattern for a few weeks until the drilling results are out....in the meantime has anyone looked at Ivanplats' new discovery in DRC? The grade is incredible.......

Btw, the dm folk at the resource trade fair in Vancouver said they expected results from the drilling "in two weeks"......

Would be nice if all 4 targets were succesful and they actually are connected.

Forgot to add that they said DM shareholders would likely be 'pleased' with the drilling results......they were not ecstatic however, which leads me to suspect that the results so far have not been 'out of the ballpark'......but maybe they were just good actors - who knows........

I wish you were right Rodic so I can pick up some more cheapies, but I have to disagree. I think it will be the complete opposite. I think we will all be very impressed and happy. Look for a big pop....coming soon!
