DM share price

Without getting too analytical, POM has 300 million shares outstanding fully diluted and is trading at $1.50 today. DM has half (150 million) the shares outstanding and is trading at half the price ($0.75), giving POM a market cap of 4x that of DM. They both appear to be sitting on M&I assets that are about the same. POM does has more cash in the bank and is ahead of DM in the permitting process. They both have strong financial backers...Antofogasta for DM and Glencore for POM. Yes, DM does have to raise more cash however they have been pretty resourceful in doing so in the past...most recently having sold the 430 million debenture to Li KaShing/CIBC in April 2013. It makes no sense that DM is being sold off by investors to this extent.

I wonder if some of the reason DM has been dropping is investors selling their DM and buying Polymet since it's beginning to look more and more like it's going to happen while DM is several years behind.

This is what I feared (maybe worse). A "best efforts" private placment is as bad as it gets, and seems desperate - let's hope that I am wrong. On the positive side (I think), the amount (up to $10 million) is small and will probably only fund a couple of months at the current high and wasteful burn-rate. So, it may mean that the PFS is getting close, and that ...more

We will soon see if management buys any of these new shares. If they dont, not good.
